Technical Lead / Software Architect


n       Currently working as Technical Lead and Software Architect in the Enterprise Architecture Group

n       Performed pre-project technical analysis and consultancy for various clients

n       Working on CRM Plus, a CRM Application for financial institutions (C#, SQL Server 2005, VS.Net 2005)

n       Worked on Channel Intranet Solutions, a license based e-learning delivery product (C#, ASP.Net 2.0)

Software Engineer (Developer / Analyst)


n       Performed analysis and design of an automated testing tool to verify “Reptile”, titled “Anti-Reptile”

n       Worked on a Call Center reporting tool “Reptile”, for a UK-based client (C#, VC++, VS.Net 2003)

n       Worked for about a year as an outsourced software consultant for enhancing Banking Vision and UniNet, banking solutions being used at Union National Bank, Abu Dhabi, UAE (C/C++, BC5, Oracle 9i, Oracle ProC, VC++, Web Services)

Acting Manager ICT Office


n       Managed the Campus LAN consisting of over 200 workstations at two locations for about seven months

o        Managed a team of 10 people and administered servers, routers and workstations

o        Implemented Microsoft Software Update Service (SUS), for automated Software updates

o        Implemented a load-balancing and fault tolerant proxy server using multiple links

o        Designed and implemented VPN to give remote access to teachers and students

o        Set up and administered Linux based Research Lab mainly consisting of old PCs

o        Designed and implemented Network Monitoring System using SNMP and MRTG

n       Worked under Dr. Misbahuddin Mirza in the area of Distributed Computing with special focus on Grids and implemented a Grid Computing Environment within the campus
